'The tide ebbs and flows' Holy Island bay in Northumberland Giclée coastal print. This is a print taken from an original oil painting on board that I did of the view across the sea from Lindisfarne in Northumberland. There is always a sense of excitement when you are crossing the causeway as the tide comes in and cuts the island off very quickly sometimes and being on the island itself you are aware of the tide times and the movement of the water as when the water starts to come bacon across the shore it means you must either stay a few hours longer or leave. A wonderful place.
I particularly enjoyed painting the boats - they are as iconic as the landscape itself.
This painting can be cropped to create a more square format either to the left or the right for a bespoke order which would take 5 days if you message me with your requirements I will price it and get back to you.
